Breathwork Sessions

There are many different types of breathwork. There's breathing for stillness, calming your nervous system, energising and awakening your mind for trauma release and many more.

Breathwork describes exercises that teach you to manipulate your breathing rate and depth with the goal of bringing you to different states of consciousness.

What to expect during your session

We will begin with with a consultation to discuss your intention for your session.

We will then discuss the breathing technique and how the session will unfold.

During your session you may feel light headed, want to release stuck energy by crying or moving your body. Whatever feels good to you.

What to expect after your session

After your session you may feel happy, tired or immense gratitude.

I recommend taking some time for yourself to get out in nature, journal, enjoy a relaxing bath or sleep. Whatever feels good for you at that time.

I also recommend drinking plenty of water.

How to prepare for your session

To prepare for your session you'll want to have a comfortable place to lay down. You won't need a pillow.

Ensure you are in a quiet space, free from any distractions.

The session will take place via zoom. Remember to put your phone on silent and turn notifications off from your device you are using. Don't forget a charger if your battery is low.

You will have your screen so I can see the top half of your body, this way I can support you with yor breathing technique.

I recommend having earphones for the session to block out any other noise and this will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the music.

During the session your body temperature is likely to change so I recommend bringing a cosy blanket.

During a session people can, receive messages or have ideas. So a journal might be a good idea so you can note them down after the session.
